Below are some of the many organizations that advocate for, promote and supporting bicycling in the Twin Cities.

Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota: The mission of the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota is to unite and strengthen bicycle advocacy, provide education, and work for a more bicycle friendly Minnesota.

Free Bikes 4 KidzFree Bikes 4 Kidz is a nonprofit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need.

Full CycleFull Cycle is a nonprofit bicycle shop in south Minneapolis that offers a six-month, paid internship program for homeless youth.

Grease Rag Ride & Wrench: Encourages and empowers FTW (Femme/Trans/Women, Non-binary, Two-spirit) cyclists in a collaborative and fun learning environment through rides, discussions, shop nights and educational seminars in a safer space.

Major Taylor Bicycling Club of MNThe Major Taylor Bicycling Club of Minnesota, established in 1999, is a nonprofit social/recreational club that promotes safe and fun cycling geared towards the African-American communities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, although all are welcome to join us.

Midtown Greenway CoalitionThe Midtown Greenway Coalition is coalition of neighborhoods, organizations, and individuals who love the Midtown Greenway and want to protect and enhance it.

Minneapolis Bike Parks: Minneapolis Bike Parks is a group organizing to create safe, family friendly off-road biking options in Minneapolis parks. Their goal is to provide mountain biking opportunities for youth and residents who typically don't have access to them, and increase the amount of urban single track in Minneapolis. 

Minnesota High School Cycling LeagueThe Minnesota High School Cycling League is a state-wide independent activity provider for student-athletes in 7th to 12th grade.

MN Cycling Center: The MN Cycling Center is a group organizing for a new indoor cycling facility on the Shoreham Yards site in Minneapolis. The facility would provide cycling education, a bike maintenance apprentice program, and athletic, meeting, and entertainment facilities including a velodrome, fitness center, skate park, commuter center, and BMX race track. 

Nice Ride MinnesotaNice Ride Minnesota is a non-profit organization that provides public bike sharing and other bike programs.

Our Streets Minneapolis: Our Streets Minneapolis works for a city where biking, walking, and rolling are easy and comfortable for everyone.

Richfield Bike Advocates: Richfield Bike Advocates advocate for better infrastructure, better education, and development that works for bicyclists and pedestrians.

Sierra Club North Star Chapter: The Minnesota chapter of the Sierra Club advocates for safe, convenient, and accessible bicycling for everyone through both policy and projects.

St Paul Bicycle Coalition: The Saint Paul Bicycle Coalition strives to establish bicycle friendly culture and infrastructure in Saint Paul, Minnesota through thoughtful public participation and a strong network of cyclists, politicians and interested citizens working for positive change.

Tamales y Bicicletas: T&B is dedicated to strengthening our Latino and immigrant communities through bike projects, green farming, cultural empowerment, and environmental justice.

Twin Cities Adaptive Cycling: Working to increase access to cycling among youth and adults with disabilities. TCAC provides customized adaptive bicycle fittings and low-cost regular use of their bicycles, comprehensive education and training, and opportunities for group rides.

Venture North: A full-service bike shop and café that helps the surrounding community see cycling as a viable option for healthy, affordable and sustainable transportation.
